From March 17-19, 2009, HIRA exhibited at the 56th AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) Congress in Chicago. During exhibit hours, appointments were arranged for interviews between manufacturers and independent reps. On Wednesday, March 18, HIRA hosted a Hospitality Reception which drew AORN Board Members and staff, manufacturers, and of course HIRA rep members. Corporate reception sponsors included: Whitney Products, CUNO Water Filtration System, ARC Medical, MTRE, Medefil, Blue Bell Bio-Medical, Esterline, Health o Meter, Qlicksmart, Complete Solutions Technologies, Adam Glazer, Esq., Nimbic Systems, Birchwood and Carolon. Representative sales agency sponsors were: Karras Medical, Tom Pruitt, Great Lakes Medical Associates, Representations LLC, EP Industries, SPM Healthcare, Midwest Medical Technologies, Sunmed Inc., Med Rep Associates, Preston & Associates, WES Sales, Macon & Company, and W. A. Howard & Associates.
